I know there is a poll up asking everyone's opinion on how the fight should've been ruled, but do you think that it will eventually be changed to a no decision.

edit: i'm out of it. poll option should be no contest, not no decision

the thing is Campbell didn't follow the protocol of letting the ref first assess and then getting the doctor on the apron. Once the doctor comes, you start claiming that you can't see and when the doc holds up two fingers, you say ELEVEN! No way this is getting turned into a no contest like Rahman got for Toney II.

I really liked Campbell coming in to this fight though I was picking Bradley because admittedly I was even bigger fan of him. What Nate Campbell did left a bad taste in my mouth. I can no longer be a fan of him.

Yes, I admit, technically, Campbell was right. It should have been a no contest due to what he claimed. But you could see it. In his eyes, his body language, what he said. He was undoubtedly trying to find a way out of the fight. He should be stripped of his name "The Galaxy Warrior". He pulled a Guerrero. I hope they don't overturn the decision.

Campbell left a sour taste in my mouth as well. He was looking for a way out because he knew that he would have gotten beat up in there against Bradley. Lucky for him there was a headbutt and it should be a no contest, but he acted like a ***** and he is no warrior that cut wasn't any worse then what Cotto had to deal with. Campbell pulled a Guerrero. I feel that they shouldn't overturn the ruling Campbell didn't act like a fighter or as he calls himself a "Galaxy Warrior."

I certainly hope not. Campbell was looking for a way out and Bradley was on top.

Thing is, Bradley gave it to him. It's going to be a no contest once everything's reviewed and Campbell protests IMO. Unlucky break for Bradley, really. I've seen alot of fights where being down 3-0 still doesn't result in a victory for the fighter whose ahead, but I think Bradley still would've come away with the W.

I don't blame Shaw for not being excited about the rematch. Nate's an old fighter coming up in weight and Bradley would probably get more credit for beating one of the good younger fighters at 140. All that the rematch is going to bring is an older Nate and a more developed Bradley. Hell, maybe we'll see that rematch after all because the risk/reward will just go more in Bradley's favor.

Campbell quit. Plain and simple. The ref or doctor must determine you can not continue. Nate seemed to think he was calling the shots in there. Imagine if every fighter who ever got headbutted in a fight they didn't feel good about pulled this ****. You would have no contests in every other high profile fight.

The paid off referee, from the alley, was an idiot! Proven liar by video tape.

    Most probably not.

These are what's printed in two other websites.

Officially the ref declared that a punch caused the cut . . . reason why it was declared TKO.

So i don't think the decission is gonna be changed.

Were you guys actually paying attention to what Campbell was saying in the corner? He said that he only sees BLACK, you know what that means? That means there could be some serious damage from the inside of the eye and does not mean that the CUT is why he stopped.

If you're bleeding from a cut, you can still see. Campbell claimed that he could not see anything at all during the break and then later on claimed to see spots. Symptoms of a detached retina (I believe, I'm not doctor). If you think that a detached retina is NOT a big deal then you are a serious douchebag who has no consideration to the fact this is the mans LIVELIHOOD and that he CANNOT MAKE MONEY BOXING WITH ONE EYE. He's 37 years old and has a few fights left in him, to call the man a quitter and put him in the same boat as Mr. Witter is unfair.

The fight needs to be ruled a No Decision, and a rematch should be arranged as soon as possible. You can already tell Bradley wants no rematch sand was happy how the headbutt worked out in his favour.. "I don't care, i dunno!" was all he said in the interview, he knows he got a gift today too.

I find it sad that the fight went the way it did when Campbell made it a point from the very beginning that Bradley loves to headbutt.

The ref ****ed up . . . so there's nobody else to blame. I haven't seen any decission over turned because of the ref's mistake. The best that could happen is the sanctioning body ordering an immediate rematch. But who knows this could be the first.

Rahman-Toney II was changed from a TKO to a NC and that was by the CSAC who are in charge of this match as well.

And I know that it's all the referee's fault, no one else to blame. But there's a whole lot of people on this forum who think that Campbell was supposed to fight on no matter what. The guy might possibly have a detached retina and you could tell that Bradley would have been headbutting him all night long as he throws with his head down and cocked forward. People on this forum were claiming that Campbell was getting beat up ala Gatti/Mayweather or something and calling him a quitter like Witter. I don't even post much but some people here really need to take it easy on Campbell.

He's been getting dicked around his whole boxing career and like he said, NEVER complained a decision. Did you see his Showtime bit? He looked hungry and he still gets robbed. Such a shame.

Should be a NC but that isn't any slight on Bradley performance.

    Yes.

Nate was bleeding behind the eye. If he would of continued he could of easily of suffered the loss of vision in his eye from excessive bleeding.
