Will Bradley's head be a factor in his fight with Pac ?

Given Bradley's proclivity for billy-goat tactics, do you see this as playing much of a role on June 9 ?

Hm...now that the possibility of him using it is out there, i.e., everyone is aware - he probably won't consciously use his head, but it's also probably a reflex at this point.

Pacquiao seems to be training keeping in mind timmy's head is his biggest weapon

Pac just has to keep moving and stay perfectly in the mid range zone which he fights best in and it's job done...

I agree. The heads may clash, but it looks like for the most part, they're going to control the distance and angles enough that it doesn't threaten Manny's face.

I think the heads will clash at some point in the fight..hopefully it doesn't stop the fight though!

Absolutely. Don't rule out a bad cut or swelling for Pac to compound his problems.

May come to be but they said, Roach and Manny that they are prepared for it, well Alexander and Cunnigham and "The Galaxy Warrior" weren't... It's a part of boxing, he can't cut his head or keep off balance backwards, leaning on his back foot cause that's not his style. Many have questioned Holyfield's rubbing of the head in close and Hopkins too. Even though I am a great fan of Hopkins, I admit he uses his head intentionally but don't tell anybody lol. Many fighters like Holyfield only know how to step in with punches, stay in close in order not to allow his opponent to have room to box like Tim admitted in the post-fight against Alexander... It may happen and it's orthodox vs lefty all the same and that somehow increases the chances it in order TO HAPPEN accidentally or not.

I'm sure it will. Bradley will somehow provoke explosive attacks from Pacquiao which will surely result in a head clash. If Pacquiao is busted open early this could be hell for him.

    So what if it does?

No one made a big deal about it in Bradley-Alexander. Alexander got all the criticism in his case.

If Pac can't deal with it, how is he any different than Alexander?

Clash of heads is always a factor when righty meets lefty.

Alongside Mayweather, Pacquiao is the biggest most important star in boxing today. To question why it would be a "big deal" in a fight as important as this is absurd.

Headbutts are a part of this game and Pacquiao has been a victim of headbutts in numerous fights and is susceptible to cuts. If he does get busted open by a deliberate headbutt then that all alone could change the fight depending how bad the cut is.

Alexander is a completely different story/style/name.

Please, Pacquiao is going to KO Bradley inside of 6 rounds. Forget the head butts and Bradleys rock body, he has no idea what kind of lethal power manny carries in that left hand. Remember what I am telling you so that you won't be surprised. Bradley's toughness and big ego is going to get him KO"D and hurt badly. I'm serious, I hope he will be okay. The fight will end exactly like the Ricky Hatton fight, but worse.Rremember this post.:verysad:verysad:verysad:verysad:verysad:verysad:verysad:verysad:verysad:verysad

I thought it was funny in Lampley's show where they were talking about this, and they showed a clip of Pacquiao vs. Morales. You can see Pacquiao coming in face first and smacking into Morales. Both of these guys have a tendency to lead with their head. Bradley's seems more strategic, while Pacquiao's seems reckless. There's almost guarenteed to be a clash of heads in this fight.
