I can't wait for Bute to knock Ward out and prove just how pointless the Super 6 was.

Yeah, nearly every elite fighter in the division fighting each other, which very rarely happens, and nearly all of the belts in the divsion being unified, which very rarely happens, in one of the best divisions in boxing. Yeah, what a failure.

What did has the super six given us so far? ... the baddest title fight ever ? Froch vs Dirrell ? a DQ win and the prove that even boxers have acting skills ? Prove that headbuts can cause bleeding ? The 12 round ko of a shot Taylor ? A shite fighter with no heart being schooled for 12 round ? A fighter with a eye problem winning a close UD mostly with his heart ? Only Kessler vs Ward was something out of the ordinary the rest .... are just ****. Taylor vs Froch was more exiting Bute vs Andrade 2 was more exciting

you're as big an idiot as the thread starter.

It doesn't matter what the results are, the important part is that the best are fighting the best. I'm a Bute fan but Bute vs Brinkley is a ****ing joke compared to the super 6 EVEN if its the mandatory.

Imagine if Kessler heals faster and fights Bute. The tournament will lose his purpose to determine the n1(and not the undisputed champ) of the division ... his only purpose will remain making money.

Why do people keep repeating this bull****? It happens all the time, annd it's happening in the 140lb division as we speak without some stupid tournament preventing the best fighter at the weight from competing. Please do some research before propagating nonsense around the forums.

Please do some research and show me how Bute is the best fighter at the weight. His best win is probably Andrade, who was beaten by Kessler, not even the best fighter in the Super Six when he was there.

Will Ivyleague-Finito will ever grow a life of his own and see a doctor to heal his obsession for Bute? :D

The real reasons he couln't fight stronger opposition before the tournament are:
    - Kessler, after his fight against Calzaghe, had a hand surgery and contractual problems with Palle. He was not available. Bute was supposed to fight him early 2009. That's not Bute's fault.
    - Calzaghe was fighting at 175 and for his last fights, had nothing to do with a young champion ($$$). Not Bute's fault.
    - Abraham was fighting at 160. Not Bute's fault. Same for Taylor and Pavlik.
    - Dirrell and Ward were really green at the time and their promotor would have been crazy to put their guy against Bute 2 years ago. A question of timing.
    - Froch would have been possible but Bute chose to give Andrade the rematch he diserved. That's, in my book, honorable. Bute could have done both, and he was willing to, but Froch needed time to heal his ribs after the Taylor fight and couln't fight before last autumn. If he had been available before (let's say July), Bute could have faced him. Timing again.

The only fighter of the super six that bute could have faced is your favourite boxer: Allan Green. He ran away twice from Bute. He was offered twice a championship fight and he ran away twice.

So, dear hater, tell me who Bute could have faced?

It doesn't matter the results as long as we get exiting fights ...when i get boring fights then i can only think that this tournament cause me some lack of exiting fights like : Bute vs Froch or Bute vs Ward or
Andrade vs Dirrel Bika vs Dirrell Andrade vs Froch Bute vs Dirrell etc.

I agree partially. Bad fights are bad fights, even if they are in the super 6. I didn't like Froch-Dirrell and Ward-Green. Abraham-Dirrell was a good fight until the end. Ward-Kessler was a very good fight, Abraham-Taylor too. I personnally didn't like Froch-Dirrell but I'm not the slugfest type. It's true that we want the best fighting the best, but with Green in it, it ain't true! And now, with Johnson in, who could win by KO and go in the semi-finals, **** can be even thicker.

I just can't wait for some of these guys to be available for Bute and Andrade, but I don't think the super six is a failure.

A good fight is a fight with alot of ability on display.

That's what people want to see. That's what the super 6 is giving us.
