will bute get an hbo contract if he beats andrade?

HBO makes their $$ off viewers, not live gates in Montreal.

This is why they picked up Vitali-Johnson, because Vitali is producing ratings. So we'll see what happens, but I highly doubt HBO would ever sign a contract with Bute. I mean, Bute doesn't exactly have any other options right now. Showtime gave him up, where else he gone go?

 

HBO didn't pick up the fight for any other reason, you have to figure.

But HBO have plans. They want to put him in with either Pavlik or Dawson.

 

Pavlik would come down with an infection before fighting Bute.

 

Or maybe the winner of Stieglitz-Miranda, especially if Miranda is the winner.

 

Win or lose either fight, I REALLY want to see Andrade-Miranda. That could be a spectacular fight.

 

HBO won't sign Bute but they certainly want to exploit the Quebec market and expand their product North of the border. They love the fact that Bute brings many asses to his fights and draws many fans in front of their tvs.. Bute already had over 1.5 million viewers at some point I believe on regular cable tv when he fought for the IBF title... Someone correct me if I'm wrong there...

They really want Bute to succeed so that they can match him with either Pavlik, Dawson or Miranda if he gets the WBO belt.

 

I see the people in Montreal are very pessimistic about this subject.

Bute could get contract with HBO in future. It all depends on how impressive he is against Andrade.
