will Callum Smith turn out to be just another Rocky Fielding?

His only notable win was beating a one-armed shot to bits Groves.

 

I just dont understand the Holzken fight, getting walked down by a smaller man and getting hit by big shots, i didnt see the Ryder fight. I think smith gets stopped against the Ropes late

 

i am not an expert but I think Canelo's fighting style is the type of style Mundo Smith is weak against.
I do not know, but I think if Canelo can stop Kovalev then Canelo has a great chance against Mundo Smith.

 

Hell no. Smith is a proven fighter, and has a very good skillset. He poses the toughest challenge OF canelos career since GGG.

 

Smith had a field day with Fielding. Pretty damn sure he's better.
Still, that doesn't mean he has much of a real chance.

Teofimo Lopez hadn't beat anyone til he beat lomachenko.

I don't think Smith beats canelo... But he's not a bad fighter

Ryders a weird fighter.. Seems to fight to his opponents level.. I'm not suprised he gave Smith problems

 

I just hope Tesco Joe sends out an aggressive Smith who goes for the ko. I hope he doesn't settle for a defensive wide UD loss.

 

When a fighter goes to the body, he leaves himself vulnerable defensively in other areas. There's is a reason why Golovkin failed to dig to Canelo's body.
Unless you dont respect the opponents punching power you dont just dig hard to the body when that opponent is quicker and faster on the trigger to counter you. I suspect that will be the case with Smith tonight.

 

Exactly this. I don't think Smith's someone who puts his down on the pedal and goes through gears. I can't see him getting stopped as he doesn't seem like a risk taker based on his previous fights. So either he is on it from the start or he will lose a wide decision. I think we should see the best of him in this fight and I'm sticking with my prediction he wins by keeping at range which he has the skills and physical advantages to do.

 

Just another Smith brother. All overrated.
