He'll actually probably look competitive for a few rounds. By about 6 Golovkin will start breaking him down and I think the end comes at 9. I reckon Golovkin will crowd him with the jab and force him to open up or get jabbed to death. I think Golovkin is the better boxer and will accumulate damage on him until the KO.
Always a first time for everything. Canelo needs to stick and move and stand his ground at times. But his lazy feet and tendency to counter punch of the ropes will be his demise. Ggg definitely has heavier hands.
I've seen fighters with much less talent hurt Alvarez in the past. Granted, it's been a couple years now since he's been visibly hurt in the ring, but I can't imagine this fight ending any other way than a stoppage victory for Golovkin. The problem with Alvarez in this match is he's not too light on his feet. Him being relatively stationary will play right into Golovkin's style. Canelo's only saving grace is he's a very good counterpuncher, so if he can time Golovkin properly he could have his moments in this match. Still, I don't think his chin will hold up once Gennady starts tagging him by the mid rounds.
