Will Canelo gradually move to 160 lbs i.e 155,156,157,158,159 and finally 160 lbs?

    I mean he can do this thing and demand fights at these kind of weights as long as he remains the biggest cashcow in boxing.

    Just imagine him fighting Marquez, Victor Ortiz, Rios, Bradley-Pacquiao winner, 300 lbs Maidana, Broner and Cherry Garcia at these catchweights. So many good options for him.:hey

    GGG would be 40 y/o and retired and then he would get an offer from Canelo for a fight @ 159.5 lbs .:yep

    Nothing wrong with Oscar cashing on Canelo but these type of paper fights and catchweights are ruining this sport.

    We will have to see what happens after the Khan fight. K2 believe that GBP and Alverez have eventually run themselves into a corner. No more step asides and no catchweight bullschitt. This is it. Face GGG at 160 or drop the belt.

    So when Canelo has dropped the belt GBP may be a bit more willing to push Alverez out at 160. Ofcourse there is nothing to stop the Mexican (if he is really Mexican) fighting at 155 the rest of his career but hopefully he wont be in a position to force his opponents to do the same.

    Canelo would probably fight for the WBC jr middlweight title and get stripped of the WBC middleweight title. Anyway, he would still be the 'lineal' middlweight champion since he beat Cotto, who beat Martinez, who beat Pavlik, etc.

    That's why Canelo moved up just 1 pound above 154, to not struggle with making the weight limit when he will have to go @ jr middlweight and fight for the vacant WBC title.

    Canelo vs Jemell Charlo for the WBC jr middlweight title would be a good fight.

    Canelo will never fight julien Williams or the charlo bros. after kahn I expect him to go after rios at 155. Then maybe bring her is up to 155. Expect Canelo to steer clear of Ggg in 2016. He may fac PAC Bradley winner.

    He'd be at 160 now if he didn't have to face the possibility of Fighting GGG because it's a fight he will never win.

    Probably. WBC could bring up Pac-Bradley winner in to the jr middlweights top rankings and put that vacant WBC belt on the line. At the end of the day the WBC would make lots of cash from a high profile fight like Canelo vs Pac-Bradley winner.
