Will Canelo "Kirkland" Angulo Saturday?

Do you know what Chicano means? Canelo is not a chicano; far from it.

Anyways, I think Angulo stops him.

If he comes out like he did against Lara, I really don't see Canelo winning.

 

I'm growing more and more excited about this fight and will be rooting for Angulo.

Canelo's fast hands, power and superior boxing vs Angulo's better power and superior stamina. One concern I have is how beat up is Angulo? Stopped by Kirkland and Lara, the whole incarceration thing, I have to wonder how much punishment he can take at this stage?

With Canelo you have really talented fighter who looks huge for the weight class and fights in spurts to preserve his stamina. That's a bad thing with a pressure fighter like Angulo who'll push him every second of every round. Alvarez has been matched so carefully through his career due to his age, it'll be interesting to see him in a war again. I remember when he tore into Brian Camechis, I haven't see that killer come out of him since.

 

I like Canelo in this fight. Angulo has a bad eye and Canelo will target it from the opening bell. Also Canelo is the house fighter and they won't allow Angulo to rough up Canelo or fight on the inside for too long. I think Canelo will look to hold Angulo waiting for the ref to break and beat Angulo to the punch all night. I also see Canelo teeing off on Angulo as he comes in wide open. Angulo just has too much of a stacked deck against him here. Canelo by cut TKO or UD.

He kinda did. Angulo shot his load when he thought he had Kirkland out and JK made him pay for it.

 

Canelo isn't facing a 140lb moving up and he will be retreating to the ropes all night soon as he tastes Angulo's power. I see a Margarito vs Cotto 1 type scenario.

Alvarez will probably win the fight by TKO or points. Angulo always finds a way to lose...............
