    In the judges box:

"Bu..but ... dat defence, doe! look how he slippin' doe! Golovkin couldn't catch mah man Canelo, he too fast, even running backwards!"

"Defence trumps offence! So what if Golovkin landed more punches ... again"

    "Canelo so muy hermoso!"

gatti ward, rios alvarodo...........you do realize that some fighters have movement and foot work skills to control the action and exchange when they want too. But I do think that canelo conditioning in the last fight caused him not to engage as much , I still would not call it running.

Only idiots think he ran in the first fight.

He spent long parts of the fight standing right in front of GGG and even backed him up at times. When was the last time you saw anyone stand in front of GGG like that.

Most opponents give ground to GGG and end up on the ropes, Canelo spent less time on the ropes than any other GGG opponent I have ever seen. Golovkin didn't press forward for long periods because he was worried about counters when doing so.

Most people only watched what punches were thrown when scoring the fight, they didn't notice where the fight was taking place in the ring. Fact is a large portion of this fight Canelo controlled where the fight was fought, he minimised Golovkin's forward momentum and kept the fight in the centre of the ring, that is what is called ring generalship and why there's a difference of opinion on the scoring.

Some when scoring only look for clean punches and effective aggression, they forget or unduly relegate the importance of the other 2 factors in scoring, defence and ring generalship.

Having said all that I hope GGG knocks Canelo the **** out this time.

i saw ggg controling the action while coming forward and outboxing canelo. canelo had his moemnts in every round but ggg would come right back and take control of the rest of the round. if anyone saw it otherwise, then they DKSAB.

In rounds 4-9 I can see you making that argument. In rounds 1-3 and 10-12 Canelo outboxed and out slugged Golovkin.

I was disappointed that Golovkin was hesitant to throw big punches for the vast majority of the fight. Against WW Kell Brook he went balls out, but agaisnt Canelo he was content to just stay behind a jab.

I don't think he was hesitant to throw, when has GGG ever been hesitant to put the hurt on someone, it's one of his most defining characteristics, he stomps guys whenever he can.

Fact is he couldn't throw because of things Canelo was doing to prevent it. For example a lot of people said afterwards he abandoned his body attack. He did nothing of the sort, it was taken away from him. If you watch the early rounds he doesn't go to the body as he head hunts but then by about round 4 he tries to go downstairs but is thwarted time and again. Canelo positions his body so GGG can't reach him with the left hook and he blocks every single right hand to the body with his left arm. After a few rounds of GGG having no success going downstairs he then abandons the body again because he knows Canelo has that figured out and it's a waste of time.

GGG will need to make adjustments if he doesn't want to see a repeat of the first fight and end up with another close decision/draw. Will be interesting to see if he has found ways around what Canelo was doing.

Canelo will run all night long again and leave the decision to them GBP paid judges to get the SD.
However if GGG TKOs him, then he will have to back to Mexico and eat more Clemed cows.

Only idiots who dksab think Canelo ran. Macklin was on the back foot worse than Canelo but gggtards never complained because he kept storming forward pressing the attack. (Of course he was able to do that cos MM was a C leveller at the end of his career.)

Its simply a case of denial since these fools/casuals can't accept that GGG was too tentative to march down Canelo and trade with him in the wheelhouse. Instead they convinced themselves that Canelo turned into Cassius Clay overnight rather than accept fault in Golovkins performance.

Essentially they're making mockery out of Golovkin by pointing out his inability and fear to cut the ring off against a flat footer with chronic stamina issues.

You also have to wonder if they really believe deep down that GGG won if they are compelled to peddle a fantasy version of the fight that doesn't exist.

lol especially when Canelo spent long periods of time on the ropes which was a supposed no-no vs GGG, which we were told would certainly get Canelo knocked out.

No he will move around a lot and box him smartly, GGG will get frustrated because canleo won't stand and fight, its not a fight its a boxing match canleo is the better boxer, ggg is the better fighter, Abel is trying his hardest to get canleo to bite and turn it into a fight because that's their best shot at winning.

My prediction is that Canelo will make adjustments in this fight GGG will fight the same as he always dose the only thing new might do this time is work the body more, GGG only wins this fight by knock out and if he knocks canleo out he will be down on the score cards and not because they are corrupt cards, he will be down on points period because canleo is going to box a very smart fight.

He will back up because GGG punches have the kind of effect on boxerers. Back up instantly!

Canelo will have to back peddle/run he is the weaker guy in the there without his Clen he will probably be more on a back foot this time because GGG is the stronger man.

I hope the drug test do their job if i see this guy go in the weigh in looking like a hulk bigger than GGG then VADA has failed to detect Clen in his system.
