His power is legit. But it's just impossible to KO everyone. Even back in the 15 round era.

trainers just dont know when to let their fighters out the cage anymore. i guess the third match is the one, now that hes lulled canelo into a sense of security... simply diabolical.

This thread is pointless, the only man who could make canelo say No Mas... is “Mr No Mas”chenko. Quitnelo wouldn’t have the Ballz to step in the ring with him even blowing him up at a Catch weight.

Cutting through the crap and us coming in at different angles...we basically agree fella. Ludicrous OP and no fan of either fighter seriously believes a warrior like Canelo would ever pull a No mas through punishment*. I'm no fan of his, but don't think he would against Godzilla TBH *( Duran was frustrated by Leonard's showboating and clowning, not punches. Once he'd made his protest point, he was ready to resume....but it was too late and the ref had stopped the fight)

He did worse than say No Mas, because he ran proving he is no Mexican nor could he give us the big drama show he promised.

At what point did he "run"?

Neither fighter ran in either fight but if you truly believe that GGG ran in the rematch then Canelo must have been sprinting in the first fight.

    Also he isn't Mexican.....he's a Kazakh.

Running is what Canelo did in the 1st fight.

Go watch Rounds 1,4,5,9,10,11 in the 2nd fight and tell me what happens in those rounds. Your prime Canelo gets leather put on his face and most of his punches get slipped.

Golovkin showed some of his Kazakh slickness in the bout.

That's not usually how it goes, fighters are more likely to quit at the end of their careers.

GGG looked more discouraged in the rematch, kudos to him for finding the courage to rally and make it close in the last 4 rounds but he didn't look like he wanted to be in there in the first 8 rounds, especially when Canelo went to his body

GGG has had alot of tough breaks and politics to deal with in his career, he is at an age and point I his career where he might be getting sick of the BS, he is already a very rich man HE might be the one to quit in the rematch.
Canelo has the whole second half of his career in front of him. He still has too much to lose.

It was GGG and his trainer Abel Sanchez who called Canelo a coward and not fighting Mexican style after the 1st fight. A ludicrous claim because Canelo used lateral movement and fought of the Blackfoot and outside a lot. This 2nd fight Canelo stayed in the pocket all night and forced GGG onto the outside so we know who fought so called Mexican style. My comments may be harsh but fully justified in the context and circumstances.

I actually see Canelo stopping Golovkin in the third fight. Well, at least it's quite possible.

Stoppage is possible but more than likely Canelo will just beat him easier than he did on Saturday. He now has the confidence that he can bully Gennady or outbox him.

But IMO Canelo has nothing to win(other than money) with another victory over GGG. The whining will be just as bad regardless of how convincing he looks.

Get the Lemiuex fight out of the way and hopefully the Charlos and Saunders of the div. will increase their name quotient to allow for PPV fight vs Canelo.

He should say no mas to the third fight. He won the second easily.
