Will Canelo skip next morning weigh-in like Jacobs?

Consider it skipped and that is just the tip of the iceberg what he will be permitted to get away with. I would be far ore concerned with them not drug testing him.

I also am glad I am not a rule maker in boxing - having seen the old farts involved in the amateurs debate rules is worse than watching grass grow. Much easier in Muay Thai - better culture all around.

It sets a bad precedent. It's starts to tell fighters what to do how to eat what to eat what you can't eat to get the body hydrated. Fighters want to make weight and not have to worry about being fined or not eating properly. This isn't fun and games part of boxing when it comes to fighters. The fun part for boxers is fighting at full efficiency.
