I just want to get a feel for how many people believe Carl will win the fight in the UK.

    Simple yes or no.

I havent voted because your poll says "will he win" but in your post you've put "can he win"..

Will he win? I doubt it

    Can he win? It's possible

Edited. It'll be interesting to hear how many people believe with conviction that he will win it.

Nah. It would probably benefit both of them if he did to be honest, but I highly doubt it. Any improvements have been far too insignificant compared to Ward's established skill level.

Indeed, and Carl looked slightly slower to me against Kessler than he has previously. I think it'd be a bad night for him, personally.

Don't think he'd have much more than a punchers chance of beating him.

Don't begrudge him getting a rematch as he's earned it.

Would like to see Ward fight in the UK for a number of reasons.

No. At least not with any honor or dignity. He might find a ref to give him a Joe Cal stoppage, or some judges who hand him a win. But the fight fans care less about the official results and more about their own scorecards than any other sporting base.

Plus, I doubt Carl would want a win that way.

Carl Froch would get the W if he fights exactly how he fought Ward in New Jersey when he got the two 115-113 scorecards. He'd get even more generous scoring in the UK.

My answer is yes, Carl Froch gets the W over Andre Ward in the UK. Doesn't mean he'd deserve it, or actually beat Ward. But he gets the W.

    Very much doubt it.
As a supporter of Froch and someone who very much enjoys watching Ward I have no problem with the fight taking place though.

  12. :deal Pretty much this. Ward is class at what he does though

I'd have to disagree Andy.He seems to be able to neutralise any style he's faced, although I still have Floyd miles in front as he can impose his own style whilst neutralising far more consistently.

Wasn't smart of Andre to call him out IMO.

  14. Really, because ever since Saturday you've been frothing at the mouth about the UK fans. Does this mean you'll shut the **** up if the response favours Ward?

I'm English, and no I don't think Froch would win in the UK, in the USA, or on the moon.

There are a large number of posters who seem to conveniently ignore the fact that the vast majority of Froch fans accept it's probably too big an ask.

And the fact is, even if 99% of these guys stayed within 250 miles of Oakland, they wouldn't even pay for a Ward PPV (if he could get one) far less go and see him in the flesh.
