there's 3 good motivations for froch: A the money, big PPV in USA and UK, froch vs groves II was only really big in the UK B, he's never headlined at Vegas C, his legacy isn't all that, the bute / GG / Kessler wins were good but since neither have done anything after Froch beat them, they'll be regarded as over hyped or shot by his detractors. A win over GGG who could potentially be P4P no 1 by the time the fight gets made could see him remembered as a top 10 british boxer of all time.
he should not come back, last two fights he was 2 easy 2 hit, would have liked to seen it 4-5 years ago.
I don't like calling using the term warrior much but Carl Froch is a hard b******. Doesn't have a granite chin but lots of will and great recovery. GGG stops him in 5 rounds or less in brutal fashion. Even the Froch from the Super Six.
Froch makes this a WAR. I think GGG would stay on the outside as much as possible in this. I cant see him engaging as much as usually. I'd love to see the cobra spark out GGG worse than groves II
Froch is waiting for the next crop of matchroom ppv fighters tp establish them selves. ...he was thr only world star in British boxing ......now with aj kell eubank mcdonell smith ect.....they could put a mega card on at Wembley with froch ggg headline fight with a monster undercard
Don't think Carl will come back .hope not think that GGG would have too much for him now.would have been Brilliant a few years ago.
Would have been pretty good 6 months ago right after the Murray fight when Carl still had momentum left from the Groves fights.
Carl definitely has enough to beat Genady. It would start as a boxing match, with Froch eating a few of those iron jabs that Golovkin throws....struggling to get inside, getting frustrated.....but eventually he will find a way in and that is when we will see what Golovkin is made of. Froch has enough granite in his chin to not fold from Golovkin's pressure. It would be interesting to see if Golovkin could withstand Carl's. Froch would most definitely turn it into a dogfight and Golovkin, while being extremely gifted, won't have the 'trench experience' to match.....I reckon it would be an all out war. Who wins? That I do not know.... In terms of being big enough to bring Froch out of retirement.....I think yes. He's not been gone that long and is still in shape....and also has a huuuuge ego.....one that could be easily tempted by the bright lights of Vegas in a ppv event against a meteorically rising star. Let's hope.
GGG fans respect froch...even though he troll GGG he is still respected cos he has a sense of humour not like ward. GGG welcomes a super fight with froch but we know also that froch put up a poll then ran and did not speak ever àbout it again.. Do I think it will happen? Yup froch wants the vegas super fight...
No he won't, he knows deep down he could lose the fight and I don't think his ego could cope if he did.
