His willpower is amazing and I like him beacuse of his entertaining fights and that he isn't afraid to go to someones backyard to fight them. He needs to acomplish more tbh. So no
The way for Carl to do that is improving significantly and then get rematches with Kessler, Waard and probably Bute. If he wins those he might have a shot getting in therem I can't see that happening though.
He's great for boxing, and more boxers could do to have his "go-anywhere" attitude, but unfortunately I doubt he'll be HoF material. Doesn't matter to me, I'll always appreciate his no-nonsense approach, although he has said a few daft things in the past.
He is credit to the sport: he is tough, entertaining to watch, travels everywhere, never ducks, always looks for the best fights etc.. But he hasn't done enough to get into the hall.. If he was 26 he would still have enough time to get there, at this rate...
I'm not sure if HOF means that much unless you're US based/of origin. It doesn't matter if a boxer doesn't get inducted for me. I'll remember my favourite fighters for what they were irrespective of whether Colin Hart and journalists I couldn't give two ****s about say they are HOF worthy. If we had a footy hall of fame and Ian Rush never got in there, would it take away from him the fact that he had the ability to score a ****load of goals consistently? (no Scouse). I don't think so.
Just an aside - Colin Hart said Tyson shouldn't be in the HOF. I'm shaking my head if I'm giving the HOF any credo. Youngest HW champ, irrespective of his 'alleged' out of ring activities.
Dude. Way to early to tell. This is what is wrong with boxing today. Talk about it in 10 years man. Make a thread saying khan ortiz berto dawson ward etc... List goes on. Pointless
Who gives a toss about the HoF. Why are so many boxing fans obsessed with Halls of Fame and mythical pound for pound lists as if they actually have any significance in the world?:roflatsch
