- The referee and judges should be harsher on Okolie next time (and he lost by an embarrassingly wide margin of 7 points in fight one, the only controversies being that one of the judges scored it even, he was only deducted two points and wasn’t disqualified, as he also could have been in other fights) given he’s now a challenger to the more popular champion CBS, with Okolie’s stock at an all time low - Okolie will have to radically overhaul his long-time style in short order if he wants to avoid point deductions or a DQ next time but his style is centred around protecting his glass chin at all costs - CBS will be more confident and Okolie less, especially about his ability to take or avoid CBS’s power - Okolie should be even tighter at the weight, further reducing his power (he’s failed to stop his last three opponents, while CBS hasn’t been stopped), durability, stamina, strength, confidence, focus etc. - CBS has had a pro rematch (and did far better in fight two), Okolie hasn’t
They can’t. It was sold out at Bournemouth football club’s stadium with 15,000 tickets. The rematch will have to happen at the arena in Bournemouth instead which holds 4-5000. But I understand your point.
Because everything in boxing definitionally has to suck these days, I will say Okolie gets his title back and reigns for 10,000 days, manloving challenger after challenger until they run from the ring crying and screaming "I thought this was a boxing match!"
Sure but why would the ref be more lenient to Okolie next time? He's lost his 0, lost his belt, stock at an all-time low, CBS now the champ. The only criticism the ref got was that he wasn't harsh enough on Okolie! The only reason why they might try to rob CBS is to make Okolie-Riakporhe. But is that such a lucrative fight now? Especially when they can make CBS-Riakporhe 2 (the first fight being highly controversial) and move Okolie up to heavyweight, where he won't be weight drained and may not be so tedious.
