Can Glen Johnson join Nate Campbell and Joel Casamayor as old lions that dethroned younger ones?

no man Glen Johnson is gonna get beat

In both the cases you mentioned, you had the older, more skilled veteran taking on the younger, more agressive fighter.

This time its the young fighter who is more skilled, and the old guy who fights like a young one.

Johnson has no shot unless Dawson pulls some Wlad vs Sanders kind of ****

I was surprised that Campbell took apart Diaz and not so surprised by Casamayor, but I would be shocked if Dawson lost to Johnson. Glen is a bit past it now and, despite his tenacity, shouldn't have enough to deal with Dawson at this point in their careers. Dawson losing would be devastating for American boxing.

Well, it's a very interesting fight: Dawson is a hell lot quicker, great talent and if he'll be able to land accurate punches flush the ref may stop it after a few rounds...

But Johnson is just keeps coming, throwing a lot, great stamina, wears you down and Dawson has a suspect chin so after the 8th, Chad better watch out for Glen...

There's a decent chance for an upset here... you can never count Johnson out...

I'm probably gonna root for Johnson, he's one of the good guys...

No unlike Kats and Diaz Dawson is a complete fighter. He's has excellent defence, movement and technical skills that will help him against Johnson. Fighters like Kats and Diaz only know one way to fight Dawson's game is much more varried and it's why he will be better than these two. Dawson is the real deal and will be a force for quite a while.

I am picking Johnson to beat Dawson.

Dawson is a prospect, but he's far from a big name superstar.

Down the stretch, I think Johnson will be too much for Dawson, and will beat him via decision.

Dawson isn't a prospect he's the WBC title holder. You've gone beyond a prospect when you've won a major title or even fought for one.:deal

When he goes it will be by KO.

I dont see him losing too many rounds to anyone right now.

Dont think johnson will be able to beat him. Clitnon Woods will be a good fight. Joe Calzaghe beats him.

It all depends on who he fights, Tarver will be beated by Woods, Hopkins is going to retire after the JC fight and dont be surprised if Calzaghe himself retires after that fight. Dawson doesnt have too many names around him. I certainly dont see him losing anytime soon.

I think Dawson Kessler is the fight of the future.
