Agreed. As much as I like Chad, Johnson's style should trouble him some. Unless Glen has no gas left at all, which in that case we may not learn a whole lot more. If he can get by Johnson, I'd like to see him fight Woods (assuming Clinton defeats Tarver, of course).
Right! I keep forgetting about the Shark, for some reason. ... Just kidding. His style also might present trouble for Dawson, and he's younger. I'm really fired up for April 12. That Showtime card is where I'm spending my time, with HBO relegated to the DVR.
Dawson cannot forget about the Shark...:-( He has sleepness nights camping outside the WBC President's house worrying about the Shark...:yep
no but people arnt expecting much from him. he has said he might go to light heavy.and his fights are dropping though. he looks like at the end of his career already.
With all due respect to Johnson, Chad Dawson should win this fight decisively. As stated above, Dawson's superior boxing skills, (which seem to evolve with every fight), speed and improved punching power with both hands will make the scoring lopsided if it goes the distance. While both Diaz and Katsidis (Kats got reckless late and probably would have won had he not) are warriors and exciting fighters able to shape fights by force of will, Dawson is a more complete fighter whose profile would improve with some competitive fights.
