What do you guys think? Will Chad Dawson really get credit for beating Glenn Johnson or will alot of posters on here say Glenn Johnson is old and washed up? To me i think Glenn Johnson has more to gain by taking this fight. Chad really doesn't have much to gain.. If he beats him people will say he's old and washed up and if he loses forget about it people will be starting "Chad Dawson American HypeJob" threads.. Lets hear your opinions.

He'll get a moderate amount of credit from me, depending on his convincing he wins. I don't want to see him on the canvas again

Johnson is old, but still a solid B-. If Dawson dominates him to win a clear UD or even a stoppage I'll give credit

Of course he will. Who cares if some say what you think. Won't make it true, and it won't be something many agree with anyway.

I think the people who are down on Dawson now will downplay the win if he beats Johnson. They'll say Glen was too old to pose much of a risk.

I think this is a dangerous fight for Dawson. Johnson is still a tough customer and if Chad wins, he should get a lot of credit.

Yes! Why do guys feel the need for threads like this every time a young fighter fights an old fighter? Johnson is a step up. It would be Dawson's biggest win, by distance.

But what will be said IF Johnson bulldozes Dawson??? Would that tarnish Chads career, losing to an old guy? I think the answer is yes.

Yeah I think Johnson is one of the better Light Heavies in the division even at his age so I think Chad should get credit for beating him. And if he really beats him convincinly he should get alot of credit.

It depends on what Glen Johnson shows up.

Well i'll be done with it on fight night and you're welcome to it. You could always pop it up when ready.

Found a photograph of Armstrong sparring (playing really) with an ungloved Louis which is going to by next one, I think.
