Will Charr's stock rise with his cut loss?

Vitali needed to bribe the doc in order to get the win. So yes, Charr can keep his head up high. He's still undefeated.

Bunch of kids trying to compare two completely different situations.

The 2 Henry Cooper cut losses (TKO5/TKO6) against Ali and the Vitali cut loss (TKO6) against Lewis were hard fought battles with in two cases the loser having the upper hand at the time of the stoppage.

This one was a onesided beating.
But Charr's stock wasn't very high in the first place, so losing against a Klit and putting him in the spotlights might even brought up his stock anyway.

I see Charr getting some endorsement deals, so yes his stock went up considerably as he's become more marketable. I can see him promoting a men's hair gel line.

    Cheated not defeated

Charr can live off this for years; only the doctor won the fight, I won the event, Vitali ducked a rematch.

It reminds me of someone else :think

You're giving Vitali WAY too much credit.

I hear he'll be releasing a single soon, and they have a range of merchandise being manufactured (pencil cases, lunch boxes etc)

Charr's prestige definitely went up with me.

I thought he was a complete joke before the fight, but not now:

He was in great shape, he was moving well and throwing MUCH faster punches than I've seen from him before.

He was constantly moving forward, pushing Vitali backwards. How many A-level fighters have ever even done that?

He clearly had a game-paln, and was sticking to it, not getting flustered or over-anxious.

He took and blocked Vitali's punches with ease. He was never hurt. The KD was NOT a knockdown, but rather a pull-down after Vitali missed with his right hand. (but of course the ref was in the bag.)

And finally, Charr actually landed a few meaningful blows, even to Vitlai's face. Whoda'thunkit?

It's likely that Charr has just never before been motivated to train as hard as he did for this fight. He was probably the best version of Charr that ever existed, and for all we know he might have taken old, slow Vitali out in the later rounds.

Incredibly frustrating. So yes, Charr's stock has gone up.

    ---------------

Someone should loop the last 30 seconds of the fight & put it on YouTube. (the part just before Vitali decided to purposely rub Charr's cut.) Charr was landing good shots on Vitali's face. It would be great to just watch that over & over.

Oh, and FWIW: **** Vitali Klitschko.

    Respect to Manual Charr.

Someone should try to contact him (Facebook?) and tell him about this thread. - Also my thread about Vitali's deliberate thumbing.

It would be pretty cool if he actually responded here! - But even if he just knows that many fans are behind him, that would probably help him get through what must be an incredibly dark time.

I can't even imagine how he's feeling right now.

Charr is still horrible but he was actually less horrrible than I expected him to be and he showed heart i expected him to fold under pressure especially after getting knocked down. And losing because of a cut is probably the best thing that could have happened even if it isn't true he can say that he would have given Vitali trouble if the fight went on. He could get a shot at Povetkin or wait until Vitali retires to fight for a title
