as long as Joshua doesn't quit like Oscar, punishment will take its toll and he's gonna fall.

Exactly. Clottey is an ON/OFF fighter. He is punching or he isn't. You can almost guarantee that while punching him, nothing will be coming back.

I can see it now. Manny with the use of his juice, winging away on Clottey with his hands up then backing off. The crow going crazy. Clottey shaking his head, "No." making that face he makes. The commentators talking about how "spectacular" it is to see Manny looking like the bigger man in this fight.

    This is WWE crap. :-(

how did you become a clottey fan?

Nobody has ever dominated the guy. All his losses are disputable ffs.

Im hoping for an upset and will be rooting for Clottey..But i doubt its gonna happen,Both fighter got great chins,I would say Cotto has a bit more power then Clottey, and even he was unable to hurt Pac,so I feel Clottey would also be uneffective against Pac and hes not active enough either,I wish Clottey gets a experienced trainer for this fight, but either way it wont help,Manny is just on a roll...Pacquiao by WIDE UD is my prediction..Clottey has never been dominated,But this will be his first time..But im still hoping Clottey will pull a "Buster Douglas" on Manny and shock the world

From watching his fights? I like Josh Clottey. I really do. I also accept his limitations.

I know nobody has ever dominated him. I also know that instead of closing the show he does just enough to lose. He does this knowing damn well that NOBODY will give him the nod in a close fight. It is what it is.

Anyone who knows boxing knows that there is no way in hell in a close fight Clottey gets a draw or SD. He will have to DOMINATE Pac to win. Do you see that happening? As long as Pac can throw constantly Clottey will turtle up.

Against a "normal" fighter this is fine because you have two choices. Punch him or he will come out of his shell and punch you. Against a juicer with inhuman stamina? The tactic is useless.

All of that said? Go Clottey!

I think Clottey's ability or inability to stop Pac in his tracks with arm punches will play a major role in this fight. Clottey can fire off some sick cominations but to do that he will have to be able to stop Pacquiao in his tracks first.

I have to analyse the fight a little deeper though. One thing I expect is Pacquiao to work Clottey's body extensively.

I don't know. If you look at Clottey's offensive arsenal he has what it takes to give Pac trouble, but if you look at his movement in the ring its becomes uncertain that he will be able to get his shots off.

I think this is an interesting fight. I'd be very surprised to see Pacquiao knock out Clottey but I wouldn't be surprised to see him figure him out and make him look a little bit out of synch.

Exactly man. It is a fun fight to watch. It is always fun to see Clottey. It has been dazzling to see Pac. But Arum serving the boxing community this fight after we were one sticking point away from Mayweather/Pacquio? :huh

C'mon man how can anyone pat Pac or Arum on the back for this? :bart
