Lets be honest he didn't even beat Korobov, he got a pass in a fight where he lost the first round. He is an entertaining fighter to watch who gets stuck in, bags of heart, good chin a bit of showmanship thrown in and ridiculous fashion sense (not a patch on his old man) but not good enough technically to operate at the top level. No shame in his achievements but he need to be a bit more humble outside of the ring. If he actually had a sense of humour and didn't take himself so seriously he could actually be quite funny and likeable.

And those guys tend to be bigger, weighing much more in the ring. Jr struggles to get UP to 168, like Nigel Benn did. Guys like his Dad and Calzaghe struggled to get down to 168 and were much bigger men.

Froch and Kessler usually walked around and entered the ring not much more than 168. Jr even force feeds to actually get up there and then loses weight overnight! Groves boiled down and blew up come ‘18, he was too big and strong for Jr inside.

And after the Yildrim KO, Jr’s naivety was that he would take GG with one big shot.

You can't reach your potential when your focus is carefully calculating which opponents you select to fight, who you know your almost certain to beat for the biggest gains.

He will only only fight decent opposition when the coin makes it worth the risk.

Another fighter I'm not prepared to pay PPV prices to watch when there trying to take the path of least resistance.

He should reverse his Charisma bypass first.

A pretender simply stealing a living.

I think he could have had a far better career than he has had tbh.

Spent far to long with his father, eubank senior was arrogant because he had spent years sparring in some of the hardest gyms on the planet learning the hard way which makes you a great fighter, so that's why he was arrogant,

Junior for whatever reason thought that he could be arrogant because he was a eubank and because of this he didn't need training he was the son the Chris eubank so that's all he needed to succeed!!!!

He will look back and regret the way he went about his career because let's all be honest if he had been with a booth, tibbs, mccracken etc from a young age the lad would without doubt reached the top because he has absolutely everything needed to be a world champ, teak tough, lives the life, relentless work rate etc etc

Such a shame I think he could have been special, unfortunately he will hold the ibo until he retires and that's it!!!!

Saunders by many is considered one of our best boxers and world champs and possibly the man to beat Canelo etc for anybody who thinks this, rewatch saunders vs eubank with the sound off and score it!!

My point is eubank could and should have won that night, so whatever people think of his limited ability, does that mean saunders is equally poor or eubank is underrated???

Jr was good back then, like 7 yrs ago. He’s become more and more disjointed over the years.

IMO he's reached his potential. He's just not that good. Decent fighter yes, good enough to contend yes, good athlete but too many technical flaws to be a real top drawer boxer. It's not unthinkable he could still pick up an alphabet belt. But top technicians are always going to beat him.

Does he have the hunger for it? He doesn't seem to be too vocal about wanting the big fights and the kind of opponents he's faced post Groves and his level of inactivity suggest to me that he's just going to wind down now and try and pick another easy fight against someone else in their twilight years ie. Murata and Jacobs, the latter recently got a gift against Rosado, Rosado being the kind of opponent that I think is Juniors level these days.
