Cotto is in deep shyt...and i mean DEEP shyt!

He has nothing to trouble Floyd...some of you are either over rating Cotto or underestimating Floyd maybe even both.

There are some tough fights out there for Floyd and there are fights that Floyd will get pushed in....THIS IS NOT ONE!

there will be a lot of bending low by floyd in this fight. throw in the hit then clinch move and sticking the elbow on the face. i doubt cotto gets to do much damage on floyd. as exciting as cotto is, floyd can turn this into a very boring fight.

My bad I just read this post....well I had the chance to spar Angel Manfredy I would consider him a full bum lol.....then again we was like half my size...but your losing my point here. Pac was not timing Cotto's jab he was simply using angles and taking calculated risk understanding his movement would throw off Cotto's jab and unfortunately for Cotto his training had no idea how to nuetralize the attack. Floyd does not offer the same challenge....Pac and Floyd have totally different styles and both execute there offense attack from different positions. As educated as Floyd is in the ring he is completely textbook and a much easier read. The reason why Floyd is so successful is because he utilizes other fighters desperations as opportunities for his offense, he's the best in boxing at this. If your a fighter you'd understand where I'm coming from....

I liked el Diablo... I remember he was in SI right before he lost to Floyd.

Good post, night and day styles, it does seem he would have an easier time adapting to the textbook over, Pac's style...
I don' t think he's gonna win, but it's not gonna be a walk in the park for Floyd

for all the ppl who think cotto is going to be a walk in the park for floyd...consider this. back when floyd beat hatton and cotto beat shane...the obvious next fight was mayweather vs cotto or floyd vs margarito...or at the very least...floyd vs shane. instead of facing any of them immediately floyd made the statement..."why should i have to fight all of these guys? let them fight each other and i'll face the winner." or something to that effect. roger echoed those sentiments. floyd announced his retirement and while he was gone, they all fought each other. as a result, they were all softened up. the margarito that shane beat was not the same margarito that beat cotto. the shane that pac beat was not the same shane that cotto beat. the shane that floyd beat was not the same shane that cotto beat. and the cotto that pac beat was not the same cotto that margarito beat. i say all of this to illustrate that floyds plan worked. he bowed out to avoid fighting these guys at their peaks. and now he's getting a diminished cotto, but i believe that he isn't as diminished as everyone thinks.

Even if Cotto lands flush a good amount of times, Floyd just doesn't seem that susceptible to swelling or bruising or bleeding.
