Pretty confident Mayweather will fight him and the more people talk about this fight and nag the sooner Mayweather returns, just like for the Hatton fight. Only this time I think Mayweather will wait for the result of Cotto/DLH.

if either guy wins easily, Floyd wont fight them, if its a war, Floyd more than likely will, probably hoping that who ever he fights left a peice of hismelf in that fight making it much easier work for Floyd.

I really don't care anymore.. IF Mayweather comes back to fight Cotto, then I'll start talking again, but for right now, Mayweather means nothing to me.. Just a retired money monger..

Who cares about Floyd? these guys have the guts to fight each other when Floyd wouldn't.

the boxing world is a better place without him

Beating Margarito didn't stop Quintana to get in the ring with Williams.

I agree, he won't be missed and it's time we stopped discussing him.

You're probably right. He really suffers by comparison with guys like Cotto and Margarito who have a burning desire to get in there with whoever they think is the next best guy and tear it up, and who think about glory and their place in the history of this sport before the cash. We should let Mayweather ponce around at WrestleMania and pick up his easy pay cheque, and the pain will be his when in years to come he is remembered as a second-rate version of Roy Jones Jr who never went all out to gain legendary status.

quintana was the contender, not the champion, its just common sense that a top contender will take on the champ to become a champ. But with mayweather we have the champ that doens't want (or didn't, since he's "retired") want to fight top opposition. Plus quintana doesn't let fear rule his career like mayweather does, he doesn't have mayweather's insecurities.

    Yes it was.

If Cotto beats Margo then he's like ****ing Godzilla or Korgoth of Barbaria and nobody wants to fight him because he's so scary, that's what you said.

Newsflash: Williams beat Margo and Quintana stepped in the ring with him.

    Kinda defeats your statement.

Simple. Margarito is not nearly as fearsome as you margodorito majorettes like to believe.

Cotto will beat Margo and after that someone, who's not starving at all, will call him out and after that you and the other nuthuggers will crawl back under your rock with your scarecrow theories, pfff...
