My point was if Torres had more time the fight wouldve been different. He tired himself out by wasting punches and Cotto's chin barely stood up.

Size. I am not saying that the arms size determine punching power. All I am saying is that the size of the arms when fit generally indicate the build of a man.

I think when Tito was fighting at 170, he not doing any dieting at all, he just eats as he normally do whereas Jones, Hopkins, etc are starving themselvs to make that weight.

    As good?

After reading through your post, it seems you're talking about "as accomplished" - not "as good" - two COMPLETELY different things.

    Neither is out of reach.

I can agree with that especially since I am one of a few that believe if Tito would have rededicated himself for the RJJ fight he wouldn't have looked as pitiful as he did. Tito is spent. I hope he decides to let boxing go, but I don't think he will. Cotto is getting wide recognition as PR's current favorite son, and I think that is a 'motivation' factor for Tito to step into the ring again and again. Its a shame b/c as stated, he's not dedicated to being the best when he gets in the ring. I think the scene from HBO's 'countdown to RJJ-Trinidad' when he was running was probably the only time he jogged the whole training time prior to the fight.

Correction....I beleive Cotto was training for Branco a much different type of fighter so both me where quite unprepared either way Cotto showed his class and correcting his anxious ways and ultimatly stopping the rugged Torres. Adversity shows a fighters true level of fortitude and determination....In all honesy I don't trust a fighter that's never been hurt, confused, outboxed etc. etc....its means they've never had their cherry popped.

Maybe not as popular as Tito, but he can become greater P4P.

He just needs to keep beating contenders and become Lineal Champion.
