Its going to be the opposite. Cotto will make Margarito's workrate drop.

I don't know why you guys believe that cotto can box around margarito, i think even the pretty boy would have a hard time boxing around tony. if cotto doesn't up his punch output he'll be eating punches all night and look for a stoppage. Margo KOs cotto in the 9th.

& thus exposing his chin? It's a very tough decision if your Cotto. Margarito can shrug off bombs & keep throwing. Does Cotto want to risk getting nailed by a countershot if he opens up his offense?

Cotto will bring educated pressure to this fight, and break Margo down with quality, hard shots.

    Quality over quantity everytime:yep

Since when has Margarito tried to wrestle or hit and hold a la Hatton or Ruiz? :huh From what I have seen from him, he always wants his hands and arms free to throw punches, not hug someone to death.

Clinching and pushing off with your shoulder is part of the game of boxing. It takes energy out of you and if you have a disadvantage or advantage in this department of the fight well then it would effect the overall flow of the fight and yes clinching/pushing happens in ALL FIGHTS :smoke

That's not Cotto's game he doesn't really need to raise his workrate as long as he moves and boxes he will do fine. His movement will reduce Margo's workrate because Margo has to set his feet to get off effectively. If he stands in front of Margo he will have problems.

I look back at the n'dou fight and i see that as cotto's toughest fight, because n'dou had a reputation of having a great chin and stamina, but the difference is,n'dou had no punching power, because if he did,we wouldn't even be talking bout cotto now.Margarito is no torres, urkal, judah,or i hate to say it a old mosley, margarito's uppercut's and hook's to the body will break cotto down and i think cotto wont last past 9 rounds.People crack me up,because they actually think cotto can box all night long, bullsh**,because not even a skillfull fighter like paul williams could do that all night long.
