cotto is the same fighter, no new tricks at all what so ever. only thing he can do is come in great shape and have a great game plan.you cant out box a boxer that is a better boxer then you. cotto needs to be in great shape and stick to his game plan. floyd can be beat but it aint gone be easy.

he is a good fighter, but the same fighter. There are no new tricks. Floyd should beat him now much easier than he would have had he fought Cotto when Cotto fought Mosley or the first Margarito fight.

I'm goin for the upset here...imo Cotto has adjusted well to 154 (I still dnt believe he should be fighting there tho) and Floyd has only fought there 1 time before (not looking spectacular in the process). Cotto's new trainer will also be a major factor in this fight, that Cuban looks seriously confident...I hope he has a few tricks up his sleeve, cos Cotto will have to be @ his best to beat Floyd!

    WAR COTTO!!!! :bbb

I say around the 9th Mayweather will be ready to go. If he doesn't stop Floyd it's because Mayweather fights in survival mode.

Looking back at the Clottey/Cotto fight, Mayweather may make Cotto look very ordinary in this fight. Time will tell though. I'm excited about this fight.

Just don't be shocked if he looks better on May 5th, than he did when he fought Clottey.

how will you react if Cotto(e) loses badly? I see you have real high expectations of Miguel, maybe even the highest of anyone on the forum

Likwise, don't be surprised if he looks worse on May 5th than he did against Clottey.

I'll be shocked to tell you the truth because Cotto is not an easy fight for anyone. You don't beat as many good fighters as he has and not be a formadable fighter. If Floyd dominates Cotto, it would be not only the best win of his career but I'll even have a different opinion of a fight between him and pac on pac's chances. I'll definetly give him his due if that's what you wanna know. But I got a better question for you though. How would you react and what would you say if Cotto stopped Floyd Mayweather?

I doubt it. Just remember though, Floyd is suppose to win this fight easy because everyone keeps saying Cotto is shot and he don't have it anymore, so even if Floyd wins, he has to dominate Cotto or their will be a lot of questions raised about his greatness. And i'm not gonna say anything about it but I know everyone on this forum will say something about if it's a close fight like the Marquez/Pacquaio 3 fight. You already know that's gonna happen, so just be prepared if it does.

There's always questions about his greatness. The fact that he has to go up in weight and dominate a guy like Cotto to get any sort of credit shows just how great he is. In reality though, no matter what happens, Mayweather's greatness will still be questioned. If he wins a close fight, people will say that proves he's overrated. If he dominates Cotto, that only proves that Cotto is washed up. We all know what happens if he loses. As far as Cotto, all he has to do is make the fight somewhat competitive, win at least 3 or 4 rounds, and he'll get credit.

I'd be shocked and surprised if Cotto(e) were to win. I'm not one of those people that think Floyd is unbeatable, but Cotto(e) defly isn't a name that comes to mind whenever I picture someone beating Floyd. Guys like Robearto(e), Pernell, and Sexy Sergio are the type I can imagine getting the W. Nothing about Cotto(e) and his style seem troublesome to Floyd.

If Miguel stopped Floyd, I call him an ATG.
