The last time Horn safely made 147 was the Pac fight. After the Crawford fight, Horn jumped up to middleweight.

To be fair, the majority though Postol was a 50/50 fight before the result.

That's a fight that could and should be made.

I don't blame TC for signing with the promoter that offered the best deal. I do blame PBC and TR for not being able or willing to work together to make a decent fight.

Pity, because he's a real talent and time is running out.

    You guys are being harsh.

Khan is a good win, so is benavidez, so is postol, so is indongo.

People make fun of the Khan win but who has khan lost to recently? Canelo? The guy had 1 loss in the past 7 years to a LHW champ and “arguably” p4p 1 and Crawford destroyed him.

Can only see Spence who would be a 50/50 fight against him at 147 or below. Maybe Loma, but he would be seriously undersized.

Not at all. I’ve said the same things about other WWs but at least Spence fought Porter and Brooke, Thurman fought Manny, Porter and Garcia, etc. Crawford, the guy many feel is the best fighter in boxing, has never fought a top Welter and has no fight on the horizon against one. That’s just wrong, even if it makes me a fanboy for saying it (I don’t know how that could be the case). Every other welter in the top five except Crawford has fought at least one or two legit challengers. When will we see the PFP king fight an actual opponent at 147? Fans should demand more from the top fighters. Crawford needs to stop screwing around and call out guys by name. Put Spence on the spot, fight Porter or Thurman.

How many cans does Crawford have to fight before people start demanding more?

Who’s not demanding more from him? Everyone is demanding more from him, he is demanding better opponents from Arum, Arum is trying to get better opponents for him, even the ESPN broadcasters openly say they want to see him in with PBC welters. Like I said in a different post in this thread, he’s been at WW for a year and a half and Arum has made an official offer to DSG, reached out to PBC several times to make the fight with Spence, Bud himself took it a step further and confronted Spence face to face to challenge him for a fight(which is where Spence responded to him saying “why would I not take the easier route”) and they’re now working towards for a fight with Porter. Luckily, Porters seem more eager than Spence or Garcia so we should get that next.

I believe a fight with Porter will certainly lend to his credibility. Let's hope it happens.

At the time, Postol was considered a tough opponent. As someone who's criticized Crawford plenty, I remember many picked Postol to win then completely dropped him and forgot about him.

Loma is small against 135 pounders. Crawford is still pretty big against 147 pounders. No way this fight takes place and no way it should. Loma can still fight 126 if there was a good opponent at the weight and he wouldn’t have to starve to do it. Crawford could probably fight 160 and would not be smaller than many top guys.

you are probably right about the 50-50 prospects for Crawford but I’m at least hoping he steps up to guys like Porter it Garcia, maybe even Manny. After seeing their last fights, I like manny in that matchup. Might not win but he will win rounds and make it competitive. Crawford took some shots and was knocked down by a euro level fighter in that last fight. Still trying to figure out what the ref was thinking.
