Crolla showed good ring craft maybe should have pushed it a bit earlier but he won it and Joe won the tactics battle

Derry looked a bit off the pace at times maybe over trained and left it in the gym he never got to grips with Crollas movement

Crolla it seems as to fight absolutely perfectly to win rounds against Derry (unless of course he comes forward without thinking of defence) while Matthews just has to fiddle about and hold centre ring. A third fight would be interesting but Crolla would probably be more aggressive again and leave himself open like the first fight. Tough one to call.

Crolla is the better fighter if he doesn't get caught and stopped he wins. He was winning the first fight and won last night IMO. Even though last night he wasn't his best he actually showed signs of improvement last night, nice movement and actually adapted and followed a plan which I wasn't sure if he could do. If he starts moving his head he's might actually get past British level. Derry on the other hand showed nothing new so if they were to fight again and crolla keeps improving you'd have to pick him for the win
