Will cutting too much weight last minute

    Be the excuse/reason given if Khan loses to Judah. I've heard lots of fighters having to drain themselves to lose the last pounds, but I've been seeing lots of interviews and articles lately about Khan struggling to make 140 lbs and to me, it's ironic to be shown so closely to his next fight.

    Well with three full days to recover, all the modern sports drinks and sports food......he should be ok.

    Back when you weighed in at 12 and fought at 9 it mattered.

    u dont have three full days to recover u have one full day. Weigh in is usually late afternoon of the day before the fight. Giving a fighter 30 hrs to recover.

    Cutting weight is a part of the sport and should never be used as an excuse.

    I wouldnt be surprised if that is used as an excuse if they don't win. But we'll see what happens. We just saw a UK guy blame his toe.

    Exactly. Choosing to fight in that weight to gain a size advantage they should be prepared to deal with the consequences. No excuses.
