Hes the mandatory for Juanma...and yeah that has JML by KTFO all over it. So I doubt it and I doubt if he moves up in weight too.

Hes not beating Chris John, Yuriorkis Gamboa or Juan Manuel Lopez.
Only chance he has is Hozumi Hasegawa.

His skills are pretty terrible. Power is his only saving grace. I was at one fight a few years ago, I think it was Penalosa, and that guy won like every round and still somehow lost the fight:patsch Corrupt judging.

He doesn't deserve a title except for that freakish wrecking ball power. I feel like he loses to every top guy or even not so top guys who have chins. But he beats anybody who doesn't have a good defense or punch resistance.

He might, but his skills don't really warrant a world title, that's for sure.

Word. His career is based on good match making. They made the mistake they put him in with Juanma.

Yeah, with the amount of belts flying around these days, and with divisions looking really strong one day and really weak the next when one or two fighters move up, then I don't see why a guy like Ponce de Leon can't win another belt.

He can really punch, and seems to have improved his boxing skills as well (they're still not great, but not as bad as they were).

I remember the 2nd coming of Pacquiao got KTFO by him...Surely he can KTFO another second coming type guy and win a vacant title somewhere...Its the IN thing to do these days...win vacant titles and claim divisions conquered.

Chris John is at the end of his career and dosn't looks as good as he once did. De Leon has a chance against him.

You know ever since that 1st round TKO at the fist of JuanMa, De Leon looks like has learned to use his jab more. He has some heavy hands but lacks in skill, so he only has a punchers chance against the top guys but, he's been looking hungry lately.

I think he'll give JuanMa a better fight this time around, but maybe he should fight Caballero first and avenge that loss.

How did this guy even get a title. He is terrible. With that being said he has made some improvements but he is still so crude...

Man please John will box his ass off.

De leon is about how awful you can look being a boxer. Every single punch he throws is horrible. My 3 yr son can throw a better looking 1,2 than him...and I'll put money on that.
