Salido did box him pretty good, but thats the point De leon can't pop. Gamboa will in a slug match with de leon 10 times out of 10.

Well yea he has flaws but that guy would have to be really fast to catch him. De Leons shots can be seen coming. Gamboa would catch De Leon mid punch and put him down. I mean Lopez did with one good right hook. Gamboa can do it with either hand.

 

I hate to disagree, but if Caballero and DeLeon are looking good in the division, it ain't that deep anymore. Juanma and Gamboa are the class there for now. Caballero is just bad, and that power is the only force on earth keeping DeLeon in the game. Even Hamed is much more technicaly sound than DeLeon ... and that is scary right there.

I feel like it really used to be when Pac, Marquez, Kelly, Barrera, Morales, Hamed, even solid second string guys like Agapito Sanchez were running around there, but boy De Leon and Caballero and maybe even Valero had a real crudity no one else at that weight seemed to have.

He can probably pick up a vacant belt in the future. I don't see him beating a boxer like John, or even Lopez in a rematch. But I give him the best chance against Gamboa. He has the brawler mentality and it would come down to who landed the big shot first IMO. But gamboa would obviously be the more likely winner.

That's cool and your opinion. It doesn't bother me as I don't have favorite fighters.. I like them all. I like juanma, gamboa, caballero also. I'm probably the only guy on here that doesn't have a favorite fighter, I just love boxing and good fights, and likes all fighters. There are a few I don't like to watch, but I don't diss them or anything. Every fighter has strenghs and Flaws, I just try to pick a winner based on that.

I put Daniel on there because my family knows his family from Mexico, though I've never met him or any of them. When I made the account here, my bro said to put him as an avy.. I've just never changed it.
