Will Danny Garcia vacate or rematch MATTHYSSE his future mando??

Danny will have to fight Viktor Postol after this for the WBC belt unless he vacates. He already stated he's afraid of Lucas and will not fight him again. He might get his appendicitis and ears removed to move down to lightweight before accepting to fight Lucas.

 

I think he'll be gone to 147 before it ever becomes an issue.

"no rematch he had his shot" is a synonym for "i'm scared" in boxing terms, just like when Khan said "I won't fight Brook because he's disrespectful".

 

Yeah, nowhere in that does he say hes "scared" or even implies it.

Matthyse DID have his shot and he got clearly beaten.

 

He says it alright. Obviously he won't straightforward say "I'm scared of Lucas".

Lucas didn't get clearly beaten btw, 112-114 is anything but clearly, had Danny been punished for the dozen low blows he'd lose the fight wide if not disqualified. In any case there should be a rematch to settle, but too bad Danny is scared as he states it.

Matthyse landed his best shots and Garcia brushed them off. What would Matthyse do differently the 2nd time?

Well I don't agree, mate. Currently Danny is set to fight a guy Lucas KO'd in 3 rounds. Don't you think it'd be a bigger challenge to fight Lucas again?

With proper judges and a referee, Lucas will beat Danny anytime. Danny had to resort to low blows because he simply couldn't handle Lucas and got away with it. He can't get away with it again as it has been widely publicized and he knows it. That's why he's scared of him.

 

And Lucas resorted to punching behind the head. Its boxing, not toddy-winks.

Lucas didnt get bust up because of low blows. Also, Matthyse is known for his power yet couldnt hurt Garcia.

Like I said, after this fight and maybe Postil Garcia is going to 147 anyway, he'll have done everything he needs to do at 140
