Have been thinking about this for a few days now. Green is fighting Dominguez on the Jones undercard and then probably Jones in Australia in Nov if the both win. So if green beats Jones in Australia, will he then be able to get a big fight in the US after? What do you think?
He doesnt want one..He just wants to cash out against Mundine and this is all another way to force that rematch. He would get owned by Dawson and probably get peanuts for his trouble.
It sux really. RJJ can hold Harlem Globetrotter type fights and get big money. Green has to toil, and even if he beats RJJ can't get decent money. F--k the politics of this sport.
If Danny's fighting at cruiser and Mundine is at middle are you really sure they are gonna fight again anytime soon? Not too many people are interested anymore now, their opportunity has passed I reckon.
He aint really a cruiserweight though..He will be coming in only a couple of pounds over the light heavy limit. Not sounding like Choc has to many fights on the horizon at middle..He may well not stay there.
Green has been in some of the biggest money fights the supermiddy division has seen..Pretty sure the second Beyer fight was some kind of record at the time and his fight with Choc would have been up there. I dont think he is strugglin for coin...as long as he hasnt been to stupid with what he has made.
