I cant see any reason or advantage but I also think he is a moron, THAT NOT BEING THE MAIN POINT.

What weight will this cruiserweight "title" fight be fought at for Green.

Looking at his body in the past I cant see anything more than 185lbs of him and still able to fight effectively. I mean he boiled to make 168, looks reasonable at 175.

    your thoughts?

No way..he will probably weight in no higher then 180-182..and so will Dominguez.

Its only because the IBO light heavyweight is taken by Dawson that they aint fighting for that.

    Its all bull**** really.

It will just be bulk muscle like when Roy moved up, He never was fat he just put on pure muscle which is half the problem of Roy dropping all that weight again. He had to Shed Muscle and not fat which is a killer, SO saying that Danny should not every try to move back down in weight NO MATTER WHAT!

If Choc starts a callin tell him you come to cruiserweight.

I dont think he should try coming in at 200LBS for the hell of it... He weighed 180 for his last fight and looked good/effective. He should just try to come in around that 180 - 185 range. Any more and i think its unnecessary and has a bad effect on his movement/boxing.

Good question Mauler. Green is around 185cm tall (about 6ft 1ins in the old stuff) so he could probably carry the extra if it's benefitial to him.

Greens a moron? Not spent anytime in his company then! He is actually a very savvy individual who has done incredibly well away from boxing

i just think you will be able to gauge by his weight in this fight and the next if he even thinks he can win against Roy.

He beats Domingooooo weighing 180 - 185 and he is at a comfortable weight with no drain.

He fights Roy 185-190 having longer to put on some muscle weight.

He knocks out Roy (ok stop laughing just listen).

Does he then try and defend the belt against someone who weighs in at 200lbs and then fight night weighs 208-212. I dont think so.

It just makes me think he is going to fight two fights and retire....again. He has no career move after these two fights.

My thinking he is an idiot does not detract from his life or mine in anyway champ.

My opinion is that he is an idiot - but i also think some of the smartest people in the world are morons. It means nothing.

Green could weigh-in at 175 if he wants because he is fighting a bum. This guy has a decent record on paper but realistically he is just a cabbie from Argentina. The opponent is a genuine lightheavy like Green so i expect both guys to weigh-in at about 180. Joke of a fight.

Green will probably weigh in the 180-185 pound mark without losing much weight, as he does not need to be any heavier really & plus this argentine bum should be outta there inside 3.

Tend to agree with that. I think Danny's in for a good time ($$$) not a long time, and this fight, followed by RJJ then Mundine might just see him out.

Hypothetically, if he wins this cruiser title and manages to keep it off RJJ, what's to say he won't defend it against Mundine? Their actual weights going into such a match-up would be pretty irrelevant.

If he beats Jones, a rematch with Mundine will do even bigger numbers than the first...

Question is why defend it against Mundine? I know if I was Green I would tell him to go to hell. If Green can do that unthinkable and win the title and beat Jones why would you DARE go back in class to face mundine besides Revenge?

I say get Revenge by not fighting him and cash in overseas by heading after Adamek or Chad Dawson....HELL bring on Haye and make it an AUSSIE vs ENGLISH bout but not way in hell should he give Mundine the chance since all choc has done is lied to his fans about facing Pavlik and Sturm. He never attended to do anything of the sort.
