Simply because he'd earn triple fighting Mundine than he would against Adamek and Dawson.

David Haye would stomp Danny...you're a sadistic man Wayne ;)

My 2 cents worth is this.....

Green wins his next fight and the title.....RJJ wont make it out here for the fight....Green takes on Mundine for the title.

I wish I said this a few months ago and I would have looked great......hold on....I said it in about 5 threads :D

Mundine 5 time world champ :D:lol::rasta

Totally agree. This is a total joke of a fight. Well the fight itself isn't all that bad, the fact that they've made it for the IBO Cruiserweight Title is. IMO, it really devalues the IBO. Why make the fight for a Cruiserweight world title when they aren't even Cruiserweight fighters and are fighting at only 180 pounds?

At least Mundine fought the reigning champ for the IBO title and that fight had currency as they were legitimitely two of the top 10 fighters in the division.

It makes you wonder that anyone with a decent record can just talk to a sanctioning body and then have a crack at any vacant title out there.

They might start handing out world titles in cereal boxes soon. That's how prestigious they are at the moment. WBU, WBF, IBO, . . . seriously it's a total joke. The sadder thing is the majority of the clueless public have no idea, so these frauds can continue to market themselves as legitimate "world champions".

It is just ridiculous how little regulation there is in the sport. I am still astounded just how long Mundine was able to continue to fight bums defending his bogus title, without ever having a mandatory enforced (until he ran from Kessler of course).

I think Danny will weigh in closer to 190 pounds. He weighed in at 180 in his last fight. I was at the weigh in and i reckon he cut a bit to get there.

I think that kind of weight just makes him a plod. He has always been wirey not muscular.

If he weighed in at 180 for his last fight, What do you think he would have been in the ring. 185-190. He was probably 185-190 when he stepped into the ring agaisnt Drews. Thats is more than likely his normal weight. He can just train normal for this fight and not worry about cutting weight.
It won't make a diffrence to his speed unless he tries to bulk up.

If you think he weighed in at 180 then fought at 185-190 your suggesting he has to cut to make 180....which i dont think he does. 180 is probably a safe training weight meaning his in between fight weight is somewhere 185. There is a difference between getting trimmed down as a side effect of hard training and cutting to make weight.
