Will David Lemieux be the first fighter to knockdown Gennady Golovkin?

I'm watching some old David Lemieux fights, and I'm in awe of his raw power. Similarly to Golovkin, he only needs one touch on someone's chin to have their knees buckling. Golovkin has never been knocked down in his career as an amateur or professional, so with that said, do you think Lemieux will be the first to do it?

I really believe you're right. It's hard not to think that both of these dudes are touching the floor at some point in time with how powerful they both are.

It's definitely possible Golovkin throws his uppercut a bit recklessly sometimes and Lemieux loves to counter that with a left hook.

Well Rios, Algieri and Clottey weren't renowned knockout artist with 34 KO's...were they?

Some fighters lose. It doesn't mean they're lesser than another fighter who hasn't lost. Lemieux>Billy Joe Sanders.

I don't think he will but it would definitely make things much more interesting. I really wish this wasn't PPV.

Lemieux is a top 5 MW coming off a 9 fight win-streak (7 KO's), has only 2 losses with one more knockout than Golovkin himself, and holds the IBF title. He's not a bum.

The people on this site who don't like this fight and throw off on it are haters most of whom don't even follow the Middleweight division. David has a puncher's chance but a very small one, but he has one nonetheless. You never know it could end up looking like Berto-Ortiz, although they both have far better chins.... btw watch that match if you haven't seen it already.
