Disagree. Lemieux has to be exactly what he is. Do what he's done to get to where he's at which his go out on his shield at the opening bell, bombs away.

Very toxic undertones on this thread. Many seem to begrudge these fighters any success whatsoever. Regardless of how this turns out they will spin it to make one(probably both) participants seem like complete wastes of time that are hurting more than helping this sport.

I'm still getting an odd feeling Lemieux will go after him with no fear. We shall see how he responds to that. He's not used to that because most guys are too afraid to throw due to his power. Lemieux should get inside and try to impose himself physically on Little G. I know he can't beat him with skill as someone like Ward would but I got a feeling about this one...I know Lemieux can hurt him but can he land anything significant?

Ah, the old "he's just a bully, stand up to him!" theory. Couldn't disagree more. It's only been the last ten fights or so he has had a "Tyson like" mystique. I'm pretty sure in the previous 370 or so that a least a couple came at Golovkin with no fear.

Perhaps a few did, but I doubt they were anything like Lemieux..:yep..look...Lemieux doesn't have the skill...he's needs to go right at him...he could wait for Little G to tire except his stamina isn't always the best either...I wouldn't normally advocate a fighter going at his opponent with guns blazing from the opening bell but I think this situation calls for it...he at the very least needs to hit him hard enough he thinks twice about bulldozing him...

So if Lemuiex stands up to him with no fear and still gets bulldozed, at that point does Golovkin become "Big G"?

He'd have to beat someone like Ward to be a big G. But that's not happening. Perhaps if he defeats Lemieux then gets a Canelo fight and wins that he has a chance to grow into a Big G.

Why do you constantly ridicule GGG's physical statue by calling him "littel\ G'? I distinctly recall your account back when we had avatars on here and you had a selfy avatar.

A goofy looking, pasty white guy with a big, puffy mullet and a pencil thin neck yet you bash GGG physical stature?:patsch

Maybe when Ward beats the best guy 2 weight classes above his natural weight he should get some credit to then. Man, Klitschko is going to be s tough one
