Best fight since Corrales-Castillo imo. I didn't expect at all either, hell i didn't even watch it live. I had never heard of Provodnikov and expected it to be a mismatch.

I knew Provodnikov well and because of that I didn't fancy the fight very much at all. He was and still is, although clearly much better than anything he showed before the Bradley fight, a caveman. I thought Bradley would cruise to an easy decision in a non-noteworthy fight. Boy was I wrong. I did catch it live. Bradley turning into a literal bobblehead on the ropes while still throwing back arm punches was out of this world.

GGG isn't one dimensional and he's dealt with all styles, I think this will look more like Chavez-Rosario, where Rosario, a talented, prolific puncher, gets worn down by a machine-like Chavez. Lemieux as crude as he seems, is as quick and explosive as any fighter, has extremely fast hands WITH power, no pitty pats. This ain't the has been from the Alcine fight, the Canadian destroyer is back. He had a great chance vs Cotto, even Canelo, but I'm afraid GGG is going to ruin him.

No i dont think G will go down. However, it wouldn't really suprise me if he did. I think Golovkins defense gets overrated, and Lem has legitimate power...

That being said, I expect it to not happen and for G to dominate him. If he does get hurt or go down i expect him to deal with it, recover nicely and still have him finished before the distance.

David has faster hands than GGG and great power and might get a knockdown against GGG if he's lucky, but I don't think he will. Golovkin is simply too good of a boxer with even more power than Lemiuex. Golovkin will be caution in the beginning. I think Lemiuex's power is shorter than GGG's, so he'll keep Lemiuex outside of his ideal range and break him down with a stiff, accurate jab and counters. Golovkin loves to counter-punch and Lemiuex loves to open up.

Lemiuex will probably try to start fast since GGG usually starts a bit slower, taking the first round or two to size up his opponent's movements, tells, etc, so if Lemiuex is going to get a knockdown, it would come early. Lemiuex has a puncher's chance but that's it. Nonetheless this fight will have excitement and drama, and the card should be worth the price.

If Golovkin suddenly and inexplicably becomes sloppier and more spastic than we've ever seen him, sure.

Can see Golovkin dominating from the start - similar to the Canelo Kirkland fight

You will See golovkins defensive skills in this fight. He will outclass and KO Lemieux before the sixth round. Lemieux is a very good fighter who would beat the Rest of the middleweight Division. But golovkin is a once in 20 years Talent on the level with Hopkins, Jones, hagler and hearns
