People seem obsessed about discussing the success/failure of DAZN in a thread which specifically states that is not what the thread was intended for. They can now do that here and we can keep all members happy.
Funny isn't it? There's over half a dozen members that are discussing this topic in another thread. Yet i should be 'banned' for giving them what they want?
I'm the one trolling? I went and asked Mods if it was ok to have a thread we could talk about upcoming cards/fighters.....They had 0 issues with it..... Even helped me set it up. You try and actually set up a thread which would be a help to all members, and this is the treatment you get. No wonder this place is 99% trolls 1% useful information.
In what respect? I created one thread to discuss upcoming cards....Which 5 or 6 members on here showed an interest in. Now i've created this thread.....Which 5 or 6 other members showed an interest in.
Not just in terms of threads, which I accept is a departure but nearly all your posts/threads have been DAZN or Matchroom-centric, featuring absolutely zero criticism of the platform, promoter or his fighters. You also have to hand, very detailed information about fight cards, finances etc, which you disseminate on countless occasions. The building blocks of spamming. So let's look at a theoretical example: Say someone was using a forum to promote a brand - we shall call that guerrilla marketing - there's a very fine line which, when crossed, turns the oxygen of publicity into overkill, and that has the opposite impact of the one intended. That's spamming. The method should never expose the motive.
Nothing wrong with the thread and idea as such. That said this thread will get shot down or derailed soon enough. I guess DAZN needs to be around for a little longer and steadily produce good cards for people to start warming up to it, too much of the DAZN = Hearn, Hearn = **** attitude at the moment.
