In the long term yes. But its going to take time for sure. Some good Boxers have signed up but its just the start im sure plenty of the top Boxers out there have ignored or turned down some of their offers but they are watching and listening to see how those who have signed up are treated, paid and matched. If its all good and they are not tied to anybody else im sure they would go for it. Like i said its going to take years.

There is resistance to it at the moment. Hearn is a big loud brash and flash promoter, he sorta gave out the impression hes there to take over America, not good signals to send out as hes never going to be welcomed into the country with open arms. Other promoters and managers are going to feel threatened and wont make life easy for Hearn, there are TV networks who will be the same.

As for the the sports fans its the same, some are guna go straight for it, some will wait to see how it all works for a bit and some wont go for it for for one reason or another. I see a few posts where its clear that some Americans actually think they are defending their nation against some limey snake but they will fade away, once its all down and grounded it turns out to be good value they will soften to it and forget all that nationalistic nonsense.

I dont know what sports content they have other than Boxing, but im sure its not enough just yet but they will be bidding for many things at all times and if they can keep adding to their stables the more people are going to be signing up. For $10 a month id sign up. It already seems a lot better than Boxnation in the UK and thats only 1 of the sports DAZN streams and im paying about the same for that.

I get that, but you know, as well as I do, that that’s where conversations will go.

That said, I like the DAZN concept and should things go how they’re supposed to, i’ll actually subscribe.
I mean, what’s not to like, 10$ per month as opposed to astronomical PPV prices and none of the Showtime fighters not fighting HBO guys nonsense.
On its face - awesome idea, I hope it takes off.

I know it's where some are trying to take the other thread.....
That's why I created this one.

I'm pretty sure trolling/derailing threads is a ban worthy offence on here....So now there is a specific thread to discuss the politics around DAZN, the other should be left to just discuss what it was created for.

    Me too.

Hence a single thread to keep the rest of the forum tidy.
