I think they could really use this. If they are trying to be the boxing/sports Netflix, they are currently missing half the battle. Netflix delivers value to its customers not only with current programing, but having a vast library of old stuff. I love the idea of a DAZN historic library; it would be a lot easier to navigate and get me to watch old fights than YouTube, where I usually have to have an idea of what old fight I want to watch going in. They have a decent set up for it now, its just basically limited to those fights their fighters have had since being on DAZN. So, not very much content at all. I'm probably going to stick with it one way or another, but I'd waffle less if they had a real library.
For that matter, what happens to HBOs fifty years of fights? Do they go into a warehouse box and sit on a shelf somewhere? Whatever happened to CBS and ABCs archives from the fifties to the seventies? Do they all just boil off into the aether?
