    I think he might.
    The 4½ to 1 betting odds are way too wide I think, I favour him for pulling the upset (by TKO).

    Tell ya' what, this proves what a talent Valero was. I know it's only Linares that we're comparing him to, but he [Valero] handled DeMarco like he was a nobody.

    I watched parts of that fight earlier today. Valero really was a force. He wasn't the most technically sound guy, but he had that extra something that made him special.

    I'll always wonder what kind of name he could have made for himself had he not lost the plot.

    Before the wolves come rushing in, I'm not saying he was a proven world-class, elite fighter of any sort. But he had something about him which reminded you of a young Pacquiao, and if managed carefully, he could have gone on to be something special.

    Well, I think he was completely wonko from the get go actually (no sane person has a Hugo Chavez tattoo on his chest for instance). But despite that I expected him to be the next best thing in boxing before his complete and utter meltdown. :verysad
