I would say this is one of the most embarrassing performances any prospect in the sport has had without actually losing.

Just watched Wilder in various clips and struggle to see anythng but maybe a fringe contender. Defintely right about the legs, he needs to build those up especially if his only 215 pounds.

I don't really want anybody called Deontay to be champion of anything. This isn't Friday After Next.

He's still growing into his frame. He'll add about 15lb of fat, and another 15lbs of muscle and be a 250lb wrecking machine in about 5 yrs.......that is if his chin hold up vs the NEXT great HE champ, Robbe Helenius.:deal

He'll need some work. Will be a fun journey watching him develop. Obviously he has a good a chance as any, with the Klits out of the way.

In his last fight this guy fought at 450 lbs!

Here he was a lean 398 though.

Joking aside, He did what you'd expect didnt he, landed when he wanted to and the guy retires after 1 round. I dont see how he struggled here.

You're forgetting that he got dropped by that disgrace of a man and actually almost knocked through the ropes. In the history of the sport I don't think i've ever seen a boxer in such a disgraceful condition.

And as you say he has added an extra 25 kilos of fat since this picture , shocking.

He was hardly dropped, unless you're taking that to mean a slip or whatever. He clearly wasn't hurt.

If the wall goes back up in Germany, I say yes. But if it doesn't, then no...

C'mon he wasnt dropped by anyone in that clip, he was off balance and slipped.

He clearly wasnt knocked or even remotely hurt.

Nah, not buying that. At 0.42 he's clearly caught by a slick temple shot, he did well to get up and recover from that so he's probably got a bit of heart about him.

True,he had that slick fat white style.

Although touching gloves after, sorta gives it away that it was just a slip.

I may have to conduct a poll in the classic to find out how real or not the famous Dustin Nichols phantom punch really was.
