    He will be like Adonis Stevenson. Avoiding the top fighters like a plague. We already saw what Nichols did to him when Wilder step up.

    1-2 mill fighting bums is easy work and easy money, I can see the appeal if you don't care about legacy it provides a great life for you and your family.

    He made 2.1 mill for Ortiz and Haymon's been willing to pay some of his guys 3.5 mill so I think that's the ceiling for his earnings with Haymon and PBC.

    Why does it matter. Wilder's consistently earning around $2 million without a dedicated promoter, which is very good money. He'd easily be earning 2-3 times as much if he stayed with Oscar, but Oscar would be taking a huge chunk off the top back, so it all evens out.

    That said Al Haymon was smart keeping Wilder off PPV. A lot of promoters abuse the PPV system and sour the buying public. This is why Haymon was able to easily secure as much as he did for a Wilder-Joshua clash in Vegas. Wilder only needs one or two big PPV fights to make a killing.

    Besides a Wilder-Joshua clash I can't think of any other PPV worthy heavyweight fights at the moment. Even Canelo doesn't sale many PPV's unless he has a good opponent.

    Without a dedicated promoter? He has 3 managers and they probably pocket 50% of his entire income between the three of them. And that's before paying taxes.

    Yeah and hes another one who has hogged the WBC belt. That organization was once the most prestegious of the titles but now they are nothing but a dirty stain on the sport.

    No way does Wilder pay 50% in managerial expenses. Both Haymon and Finkel charge 15% a piece as advisors while Jay Deas is both a trainer and a manager, so most likely takes a flat fee from Wilder.

    That's still quite a hefty chunk of his earnings.

    Not really when you think about it. After paying his taxes, his mangers, and all his other obligations he is most likely keeping around $500k to $600k for every $2 million he makes, which is excellent money.

    Most fighters are lucky to even go home with 20 percent of their purse.

    Joshua made $16 million with Parker, but who knows how much of that he keeps, since Matchroom spends a fortune promoting him to the hilt. Somebody from the U.K. can chime in, but I'd be shocked if Matchroom isn't taking a big chunk off the top along with expenses and I doubt Freddie Cunningham works for free. If Joshua is going home with even $4 million of that $16 million he made he's doing a great job, but I somehow doubt it.

    Why does this matter? That's a far more relevant and even more important question than your dribble

    @Jackomano

    There's no way Hearn takes 75% of Joshua's purse.

    You've also got to take into account that Hearn has given Joshua shares in matchroom......

    Joshua holds all the cards with Hearn,
    Wilder becomes a nobody overnight without Haymon.
