Dirrell will try to box and run, not realy sitting on his punches but Froch will come forward and overpower him.

it's possible... i don't think dirrell's gonna need to run all that much as long as he utilizes some decent movement. with his speed i think he's gonna be connecting with pretty much everything he throws.

Unless I'm seriously mistaken Dirrell ain't no Malignnaggi and Hatton (**** shot chin asside) was probably a much better fighter Froch.

No to mention they have completely different styles. Hatton is a pressure fighter Froch is a counter reactor/power puncher. He's not a pressure fighter at all.

Plus Dirrell actually has real power. It might not be that great but at least its enough to keep a hard boxer off him if he choses. Malignaggi couldn't even get tomatocan's out of the ring. Dirrell at least can.

matrix will sit down on his shots causing carl froch to develop an incurable case of pizza face as diagnosed by dr. steelhammer wladimir klitschko.

I'm still wondering how Froch will react fighting a guy that will just keep going backward. Froch doesn't have good footwork, I wonder how good he is at cutting off the ring.

Someone has to come forward. I really hope, as a USA guy, that Dirrell actually has something for Froch. i just don't see it.

I bet on the under 11.5.

wondered the same thing. main difference between dirrell and pascal/talor is dirrell's movement. not sure how well froch will be able to walk him down without looking clumsy and taking a lot of shots lookin like a bobblehead all night.

:lol:dirrell does have underrated power. victor oganov looked like a pizzaface by the fourth round. and paschall looked like he got shot in the forehead with a 9mm by the time dirrell was done with him. both guys never previously stopped before.

dirrell aint no pavlik. but i wouldn't call him featherfisted

He'll react by jabbing and clocking Dirrell with right hands. This plays right into Froch's strengths. Dirrell needs to keep it in the center of the ring and not back into corners.

    It's kind of amusing....
so many people thinking Dirrell will just walk with this fight.... despite his struggles with Hanshaw. His running away from Curtis Stevens and his claims of Oganov being the toughest pressure fighter he ever faced.

At that point in there careers Dirrell was very young and Curtis steven's was an up and coming star. I even think he was the Featured fighte or th favourite.

Dirrell has shown many bad habbits in the past and hasn't boxed to his potential but thats what prospects do. They also often rise to the oscasion. I mean shortly before he got int he Ring with Froch Pascal was being bounced around the ring by some tomato can out of Philie. One long serious traning camp later and he was going twelve hard ones on forign soil. And No body had every heard of Timothy Bradley before he came to England and embarassed Witter.

The point is that if Dirrell fights the way he can for twelve rounds and doesn't make any mistakes he should beatFroch 10 times out of 10. The question that will be answered tomorrow night is given his relative lack or experience and given the fact that to date against lesser fighters Dirrell hasn't put on a flawless performance, Is it to much of a mountain to climb for Dirrell to rise to the occasion?

Exactly..all these people thinking "Andre hasn't got any power" are living in the clouds, the man has stopped his last six opponants in a row  , boxing isn't all about brute power as it's been proved time and time again that anyone can get dropped by a fast accurate punch you don't see coming, and believe me Carl is not gonna see plenty of the shots that hit him tomorrow night.
