Chavez then retire. Having been to quite a few Froch fights at nott fm arena. Dont think there is any chance of Froch fighting anyone at the City Ground. Froch has been goining on about this since he has turned pro and it just doesnt make sense.

All gone quiet on the Froch front, any news? Is it eddie we need to pester or is it in others hands? Surely he deserves his vegas fight

If the Chavez Jr fight doesn't present itself I see Froch retiring. Froch-Kessler III appeals to me the most but can't see Froch entertaining that fight. If it did happen, I'd have Kessler winning a close fight by majority or split decision (although home advantage may prevent this). As for the possible James Degale bout, I'd have James Degale winning that one depending upon which Carl Froch turned up on the night. I'd imagine the motivation to get up and train for a Chavez Jr fight in Las Vegas would be considerably higher than the motivation for a Degale fight. I think this would reflect Carl Froch's performance in the Degale fight.

With Bernard Hopkins stating that he will fight one of the champions at 168lbs, maybe that fight could be made but I believe B-Hop will fight Ward. As of right now though I see Froch retiring.

Why is Carl obsessed with fighting Chavez anyway? That's literally one of the most pointless fights in Boxing.

I say have a third fight with Kessler and then retire.
