I know that Demarco and his team are ready to face Valero. Will Valero finally get into a meaningful fight? I think Valero would destroy him.

What are your thoughts on this potential matchup?

Valero is scaring Pacquiao to Jr. Middleweight or to fight Mayweather Jr. at welter now.

I'm sure some specialists here would agree.

Valero is awful. Watched the Pitalua fight again earlier, poor jab, chin up in the air at all times, wide open when he punches, telegraphed punching, slapping/cuffing punches when he tries to put combinations together, and absolutely wild when he goes gung-ho after getting a knockdown.

And how would u know that he's overrated if he's never lost before??

And what they say in Venezuela is true homey, not only in venezuela but anywhere else in the world. Any true boxing fan would agree that IF valero lands on Pac, pac would go down face first.

He doesn't know, it is his opinion. This is a DEBATE forum.

No, they wouldn't agree. And if your answer to this is: "Then you are not a true boxing fan", then **** off.

You think Valero hits harder than a welter-weight version of Cotto? Who has Valero even knocked out above a C- level? Nobody, that's who. Pacquiao would absolutely decimate Valero, it would be a horrible-beating.

That's the plan. After he disposes of Velazquez he's going for interim champ DeMarco. Shouldn't be a difficult fight to get since Valero is cleared to fight in Mexico. It wouldn't be the first time he spanks some1 in their home turf as in when he brutalized Mosquera in Panama, ending his career in the process.

Valero has more than a punch but it's just that he never uses them cuz he doesn't need do. The man has mad boxing skills. He's much more refined than Pacman incase ya didnt know. He can be a patient counter puncher when he wants to be.

He aint one dimensional like alot of ya think. IT's prolly the biggest misconceptions out there.

Valero had to be forced away from DLH's training camp for the Pacquaio fight cuz he was schooling DLH in sparring. Valero was told by Nacho Beristain: "Oscar needs someone less strong as his sparring partner."
