It's one thing having a bad chin and another fighting someone good enough to nexpose it. McPhilbin just doesn't have enough to cause Enzo any problems.

Nothing but an Enzo win here. This is just a chance to give him the British title which he's always wanted and another angle to sell the cleverly fight in the summer.

I like Shane but this is a huge step up in class yes Enzo is damaged goods and seen better days but I just don't see how he loses this fight sure Enzo's chin isn't the greatest but he is no Leon Williams he's just too good for Shane. This is a tailor made fight for Enzo make doubts about It.

McPhilbin isn't a big cruiserweight, the guy is 6'0 and has a below average build.

Enzo will knock him out early.

Expect Enzo to do a number on him. Bang him out within 3. Shane seems like a nice guy and I was pleased he beat Williams with a Froch-Tayloresque comeback KO, but Enzo is too much.

McPhillly has nothing for Enzo. If he does, then that is more of a sign that Enzo must retire.

You never know though. McPhilly could be concentrating in the gym and evolving as a fighter. The title might change him. It wouldn't be the first time we've seen losing records or average fighters suddenly hit form. However I typically find boxers to be stupid, never looking to evolve but cash in on any opportunity they can get without maximising their chances of success.

Wouldnt it be good to see Enzo beat Cleverley though? I'd like to see it.

It would be nice I agree, I still would like Enzo to face a live opponent at LH first just to gauge if him winning is possible though?

Can not see how even Enzo could contrive to lose this one. McPhilbin was losing against Williams for ****s sake.

I do agree a Mcphilbin win is highly unlikely, other than a lucky shot or Enzo fighting reckless of course which I don't think he will, Id like Enzo to break him down boxing behind the jab and get a few rounds under his belt.

  12. I agree.

Not wanting to be unkind or whatever, but in reality McPhilbin is a journeyman, despite being British champion.

I mean.... he lost nearly every round to Williams before catching him with a shot to the side of the head.... and Williams relied on perhaps the worst decision ever to ''win'' the title.

Yeah you tell me the last time you saw that big of an underdog win. The last one I remember was Prescott over Kahn at +2200.

Yep, to be honest I think Enzo's downfall is he tends to get drawn into a fight and thats when he gets caught and when he gets caught he's down like a ton of bricks.

Ive met him, seems a nice guy I'd like to see him finish on a bit of a high.
