Will Eubank jr-Benn 1,2,3 be as good as Gatti-Ward 1,2 3?

I didn't see the fight live but based on comments here and highlight videos it looked like a good scrap.

Maybe a trilogy foe the ages?

Gatti & Ward were the same size

If Eubank wasn't such a light hitting arm puncher who is at the end of his career he would have KO'd Benn.

Let Ben roid up for the rematch I say.

However great the whole thing has been as a spectacle, at the end of the day the fight was of the quality of two sons having a tear up. The action was frantic and brutal, but low down on an executed skill level

Eubank Jr vs Benn was a 5 star, FOTY level fight.

Gatti vs ward 1 & 3 were atg fights.

Certainly Eubank and Benn have the right styles to make that level of fight but I'm not sure they will.

Benn is one outstanding Fighter just so impressed with him. Just an amazing talent.

He reminds me exactly how i would picture Barbano's Joe Walcott. Ultra quick some very decent power & always non stop.

Don’t really foresee a trilogy. I expect Jr to get better terms next fight and to win again.

No where near the level of gatti vs ward
But prolly the closet we have been to that since corales vs Castillo.
    Bradley vs provodnikov… etc ..etc
& likely the closet we will get this year.
    It’s been awhile anyway.

Benn impressed the hell out of me. He didn’t bulk up for the fight, he just didn’t dehydrate. Weighed in at what, 156. What would Jr be without dehydration? He’s probably running up on 175. He looked massive in there compared to Benn. And yet Benn gave him hell all night, and reportedly broke his jaw.

and this isn’t some 20lb difference like with heavyweights, where the difference might be in cheeseburgers. Both guys are jacked. This was pure size.
