I don't count the IBS belt either. But yeah, I think he will win a real title at some point. As much as he's easy to dislike, he's strong, fit and throws a lot of leather. Seems to have inherited his father's chin to some degree too. Mix that all together and on a given night and against the right opponent it will be enough to win a version of a world title. Winning a world title in modern boxing don't really count for much though, it's who you beat and how long to stay a champion which counts, and by those measures he will come up short.

It's actually a worrying thing. ITV may pull the plug when they get next to no buys, which isn't a good thing for anyone. Surely the whole point of having this mass potential audience is so that it ISN'T PPV. Otherwise he might just as well have gone on Sky. ITV audiences will not be paying to watch this, I guarantee it. And boxing fans certainly won't.
I can only imagine there are no longer any boxing experts at ITV Sport and the Eubanks have sold them a dud off the back of the family name. Either that or the PPV will be priced at 79p like a cheap iPhone app....

Its clear based on ITVs decision to set up a PPV channel and put the CEJ-Bumzinsky fight on it, that no one in any decision making capacity or any power to influence any decision making knows the first thing about boxing. Based on that reason and that alone, it will fail. In answer to the OP question- Yes. But he will need to become a man and come out from behind his fathers coat tails and start taking the big fights. I think eventually he gets pi**** off enough to do so.
